This handcrafted necklace features the ancient Chi Rho symbol, which is one of the earliest and most sacred Christograms in Christian history. The Chi Rho is formed by superimposing the first two Greek letters of Christos (Χ and Ρ), & was used by early Christians as a secret sign of faith during persecution, then later adopted by Constantine the Great as a military and imperial emblem after his vision of the cross.
The necklace is sculpted with clay, painted, glossed, & hung on a leather cord (approximately 22 inches).
